Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026. Operator: Kaleidoscope Data LLC ("we", "us"), 2443 Fillmore St #380-5407, San Francisco, CA 94115, USA.
1. The service
VetoInbox is a tool that connects to your Gmail account and moves political email to Trash on your behalf. By signing in or using VetoInbox, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Private beta
The service is an invite-only beta. It may change, have errors, or stop at any time. During the beta it is free. We may limit the number of users and remove access.
3. Your account and permission
- You must own or control the Gmail account you connect and be old enough to agree to these terms.
- You authorize VetoInbox to read, label, mark as read, and move to Trash messages in that account, as described in the privacy policy.
- You can withdraw this permission at any time by deleting your account or by revoking access in your Google account settings.
4. How removal works, and its limits
- Removal is automatic and based on an AI classifier. It can make mistakes, including removing mail you want or missing mail you do not want.
- Removed mail goes to Gmail Trash, which Gmail empties after about 30 days. After that, the mail cannot be restored. Check your Removed page and Trash regularly.
- You are responsible for your email. Do not rely on VetoInbox for mail that is critical, legal, or time sensitive. Use the sender allowlist for senders you must always receive.
- VetoInbox does not report mail as spam and does not permanently delete mail.
5. Nonpartisan service
VetoInbox is not connected to any political party, candidate, or campaign, and does not endorse any. It aims to treat all political solicitations alike.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to break or probe it, use it on accounts you do not control, or use it to harm others.
7. No affiliation with Google
VetoInbox works with Gmail but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Your use of Google services is governed by Google’s own terms.
8. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will classify every message correctly.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost mail, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using VetoInbox and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access at any time, with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify beta users by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you and we consent to that venue. Questions: support@vetoinbox.com.
